- PathFinder Maze Package -

Automatic Virtual Reality Maze Builder Package

The PathFinder Maze Package was created to streamline and automate the development and implementation of creating VR mazes. This package was also created to expand the content, interactivity, usability, and user enjoyment of the core VR Maze functionality.

Virtual Reality Maze Experience

The VR Maze Project was created to
place users in a virtual reality maze
where they could navigate around the environment
while trying to find their way to the end of the maze.

The Butterfly Experience Project was created to
place users in a virtual reality butterfly garden
where they could observe and interact with butterflies
while navigating around the environment.

- MCU Dev Package -

Motor Control Unit (MCU) Development Prototypes

The Motor Control Units Development (MCU Dev) package was created to familiarize myself with
the Motor Control Unit functionality for the physics based interaction system called Forcibles
which the VR framework PuppetJump uses for object interactions.

This package was also created to explore some of the capabilities
which could become possible by using the Motor Control Units functionality.

- Passthrough VR Prototyping -

Mixed Reality Prototypes Using Passthrough VR

Passthrough VR uses the external cameras on the Virtual Reality headset to display a live feed of the user’s real world surroundings and make them visible within the virtual environment displayed in the headset. This collection of prototypes was built with the intent of exploring the functionality and capabilities accessible through the use of passthrough VR.

- VidSpheres Package -

Interactive Virtual Reality Video Viewer Prototype

The VidSpheres Package was created to dynamically display 360 videos in virtual reality (VR) using the PuppetJump framework in Unity. This prototype package allows the user to interact with their environment to dynamically activate a variety of methods for viewing 360 videos in VR.  (The initial working title for this project was PuppetTheatre)

- Magnetics Lab Package -

Virtual Reality Physics Playground Prototype

The Magnetics Lab Package was created with the goal of familiarizing myself with PuppetJump through the creation of some simple physics based magnetic interactions.
This package was also created as a demo to showcase some of the possibilities and advantages that VR can offer to potential project collaborators.

- Bees Project -

Educational Bee Anatomy Tool

The Bee Project is a web-based educational tool program designed to teach users about the anatomy of honey bees. With this tool students can learn about the anatomical structures that honey bees are made of. Users can interact with an anatomically correct bee model by selecting, moving, rotating, expanding, and hiding various body parts and internal organs.

- SaDVR (Strike and Dip VR) Tool -

Educational Geological Measurement Tool

The SaDVR (Strike and Dip Virtual Reality) tool is a virtual reality experience created for the purpose of helping students learn about taking the strike and dip measurements from 3D models of geological structures. With this tool, students can learn what strike and dip measurements are as well as practice taking those measurements using a variety of geological structure types from all around the world.
